On March 12, 2025, the Leningrad Regional Executive Committee of the United Russia Party awarded the design team of SPbSUITD with letters of thanks and diplomas of the winners for the best work on creating a design project for the interior of the game room of the Boarding School No. 2 of the Yenakiyevo city District of the Donetsk People's Republic.

An exhibition of the University of Industrial Technology and Design's sports glory has opened at the State Sports Museum in St. Petersburg. The exposition introduces the guests to the long-term history of sports development at SPbSUITD. The showcases feature the most significant awards that students and university staff have won at city, national and international competitions. During the grand opening of the exhibition, a cooperation agreement was signed between the university and the museum.
